Brian Carew-Hopkins is the founder of VooGlue and the Decentralised Art Gallery (DAG) — an art-tech platform built to strengthen authenticity, provenance, and the digitisation of physical fine art.
I work at the intersection of creative practice and systems design: building infrastructure that links physical artworks to verified digital records, supporting provenance, two-factor verification, and tokenisation‑ready rails for fine art.
DAG/VooGlue is now under operational management (appointed CEO and team). My role is founder-level: product direction, defensible IP, partnerships, and strategic options.

My career spans startup building, public-sector leadership, and business transactions — typically in roles where the job is to turn ambiguity into working systems, and to be accountable for outcomes.

Art practice
Alongside technology, I maintain an active oil painting practice shaped by Western Australia and a revelationist approach — meaning that unfolds through layers, context, and time. My creativity in business and art is not separate: the same instincts that drive the work on canvas also inform how I design systems.
In some works, the VooGlue app is part of the viewing experience, allowing additional layers of meaning and context to be revealed beyond the surface image.
